Roger Pruitt, DO, FAAP

Dr. Roger Pruitt was born and raised in the small town of Luling, Texas (think about watermelons and BBQ, not the smell!)  He then moved to "Aggieland" where he received his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.  Education took him north to Fort Worth where he attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center (UNTHSC) and received his degree as a Doctor of Osteopathy.  Pediatric residency, followed by a clinical fellowship in Adolescent Medicine, was then completed at the University of Missouri in Columbia.  Dr. Pruitt was board certified in Pediatrics in 2000.  He and his wife greatly enjoy the hill country and currently reside with their son in Driftwood, Texas.

Kari Monk, PA-C

Kari joined Wimberley Pediatrics in May, 2013. She grew up in Plano, TX and attended Plano East High School. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2002 and Master's degree in  Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2005. After completing school she moved to Austin to be near family and worked as a Physician Assistant in a family medicine clinic. Kari is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

In 2011 she met her husband, Rodney. Rodney convinced her that Wimberley is the only good place to live...she is very glad she listened. She loves exploring what the hill country has to offer. Since moving to Wimberley, Kari enjoys spending time with Rodney, her twins Jackson and Jensen, her step-son, Brandon, and their 2 furry children ( a boxer and a bichon frise). She also enjoys spending time with friends, crafting, and listening to live music.
